Here is some of what Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase said Monday:
Byron Maxwell: 'I would like to think Eagles messed up'
but Byron Maxwell is already looking forward to facing his former team. ,womens Rico Gathers Jersey,The Philadelphia Eagles don't hold joint practices with the Miami Dolphins for another two weeks
Philadelphia used that No. 8 pick to trade up to the No. 2 spot and select Carson Wentz. ,The Eagles traded Maxwell and Kiko Alonso (along with the No. 13 overall pick) to the Dolphins for the No. 8 overall pick prior to the 2016 draft. Of course
$63 million deal. ,womens Byron Jones Jersey,Maxwell doesn't forget that trade...and that the Eagles gave up on him one year into a six-year

“Well, yeah, I would like to think they (messed) up,womens Randy Gregory Jersey,” Maxwell said to the Palm Beach Post. “Their season didn’t go too well. Yeah. And who says their season’s gonna go well this year? We’ll see. But I’m worried about the Miami Dolphins.”
Maxwell had a bounce-back season in his first year with the Dolphins, finishing with 53 tackles, four forced fumbles,Authentic Taco Charlton Jersey, two interceptions and 15 pass deflections. He finished with a grade of 84.7 by Pro Football Focus last year.
In Maxwell's one year with the Eagles, he had 64 tackles, 10 pass deflections, and two interceptions...allowing a 100.7 passer rating in 14 games.
Former Dolphin defensive coordinator Vance Joseph revived Maxwell in Miami. Maxwell has part of the NFL's 15th-ranked pass defense, despite the Dolphins ranking 30th in the NFL in total yards allowed, giving up the most yardage in a season in franchise history.
"Second year in the system, second year with my teammates—I know who can do what and we feel comfortable together,Authentic Rico Gathers Jersey," Maxwell said. "I’m feeling good about the situation right now. I’ve got a great D-line in front of me that works hard,Authentic Byron Jones Jersey, and that’s important. I’m feeling great.
“I learned that you’ve gotta play the defense, but once you learn it,Authentic Randy Gregory Jersey, you’ve gotta put your spin on it and do what makes you comfortable. At the end of the day,Authentic Chaz Green Jersey, it’s about getting the job done.”
Maxwell and the Dolphins will have joint practices with the Eagles during the third week of August.

Miami Dolphins five burning questions of the week
Will Jay and Jay play Thursday night against Baltimore?
Of course I am referring to Jay Cutler and Jay Ajayi. Ajayi was just removed from concussion protocol today, so he is cleared to practice which is a very good sign. He has sat out since the end of July, after taking a vicious hit from safety T.J. McDonald in training camp. It is possible we do see Ajayi’s season debut Thursday night against the Ravens. We will have to wait and see how practice goes this week. As for Cutler, womens Chaz Green Jersey, he has been practicing with the first team offense and head coach Adam Gase has said Cutler may play but he may not start. It all depends on Cutler’s comfort level in the offense. I think the decision on both players going into Thursday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens is going to hinge on the next question on this list.
Who is in and who is out along the offensive line?
Last week against the Atlanta Falcons only one member of the Dolphins starting offensive line (right guard Jermon Bushrod) saw any playing time. Starting left tackle Laremy Tunsil sat out for personal reasons. Starting left guard Tim Larsen tore his biceps and will be out for months. Ja’Wuan James, the starting right tackle, womens Taco Charlton Jerseywomens Taco Charlton Jersey, is dealing with a shoulder injury and starting center Mike Pouncey is being brought along slowly after hip surgery last year. He may not see any live action until week one against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Right now for Thursday night’s game it looks like a line of Tunsil at left tackle, Anthony Steen at left guard, Bushrod at right guard, Kraig Urbik at center, and right tackle Eric Smith (who coach Gase has praised for his play against the Falcons). The Ravens’ dominant defense and having a patchwork offensive line has to make coach Gase a little hesitant to play Ajayi and Cutler.
Who is going to play middle linebacker?
it does make sense to have Raekwon McMillan playing special teams.,I know exactly what everyone is thinking right now. Why have your starting middle linebacker playing special teams? After last Thursday night I think I was screaming that question. Some of you Dolphin fans had the torches and pitch forks out already (you know who you are). Now that I have had time to think about it and calm down a little bit
Miami will be in its base defense about half the time and the other half mostly in the nickel defense. When the defense switches to the nickel, only Kiko Alonso and Lawrence Timmons will stay on the field. McMillan would have only been playing about half the defensive snaps so that means special teams duty. So far it seems the answer to this question is Mike Hull. Hull spent this offseason working out with linebackers Sean Lee of the Dallas Cowboys and Paul Posluszny of the Jacksonville Jaguars. He will get the start at middle linebacker Thursday night against the Ravens. Regardless of what happens Thursday night, I believe coach Gase is going to bring someone in either through trade or free agency. A lot of players are going to be getting cut in the coming weeks and there is bound to be some quality linebackers looking for work soon.
