Steve Spagnuolo said he has no concerns about the tenor of the cornerbacks room despite having two of its most prominent citizens suspended for violating team rules in the past month.

Out of the gate,T.J. Watt Vapor Untouchable Jersey, Big Blue simply couldn’t put any points on the board., the Giants’ offensive struggles were obvious. Despite the addition of wide receiver Brandon Marshall and offensive lineman D.J. Fluker

Then,Womens Paul Perkins Jersey, the unthinkable happened. Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. suffered a fractured ankle and was lost for the season. Compounding that issue were season-ending ankle injuries also suffered by Brandon Marshall and Dwayne Harris., in Week 5

the Giants are now 1-6,Entering Week 9,Authentic Jason Pierre-Paul Jersey, their general manager is on a hotter seat and the biggest story out of East Rutherford on a weekly basis seem to be suspensions.,Womens Bobby Hart Jersey, facing a lost season and find themselves in the same realm as the winless Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers. Their head coach is on the hot seat

not been excused.,Initially, McAdoo had said Jenkins was an excused absence as the team returned from the bye week, but during his Wednesday press conference,Womens Weston Richburg Jersey, in fact, acknowledged he lied to the media about Jenkins’ status and that his absence had

former Giants continue to use social media to voice their displeasure with the current roster. Legend Carl Banks went as far as to call them out for being selfish and not giving a damn about each other.,Meanwhile

although he acknowledged players still have to follow the rules.,Even defensive Jonathan Casillas was non-committal to his support of McAdoo when pressed

everybody does,“Whether I support Ben McAdoo or not, he’s the head coach and I think he’s doing what he thinks is best for the team, but he violated the team rule and coach had the call.”,” Casillas told the New York Daily News. “And I want Jackrabbit to be here

but they also need more than a few tweaks.,The first step taken by the Giants following a 64-98 season was to restructure the coaching staff. Now comes the hard part: Upgrading the ballclub that finished last in the National League West. The Giants don't need a complete overhaul

as well as three key issues the front office must address.,Here's a look at the Giants' free agents and arbitration-eligible players

Free agents were allowed to start talking with other clubs at 6 a.m. PT the day after the World Series ends. Expect Giants general manager Bobby Evans to have contacted the representatives for free-agent center fielder Lorenzo Cain no later than 9:01 a.m. Evans has cited improving the defense as a top priority; adding the adroit Cain, would go a long way toward accomplishing this goal., who has long been mentioned as an ideal fit for the Giants

The Giants might not stop with Cain. They're expected to attempt to scrounge together a package of veterans and prospects if the cost-conscious Marlins make slugger Giancarlo Stanton available for trade. If the Giants don't get Stanton, since outfielders Christian Yelich and Marcell Ozuna may be available., they still can hook a Marlin

The Giants would prefer not having to add starting pitching to their offseason shopping list. So they'll be at least mildly anxious as they wait for Johnny Cueto to determine whether he'll return to free agency by exercising the opt-out clause in his six-year, who have guaranteed him $21 million in each of the next four years., $130 million contract or remain with the Giants

31,Cueto, Cueto might not be in position to coax a more lucrative deal from another club., has until three days after the conclusion of the World Series to declare his intentions. Coming off a season in which he finished 8-8 with a 4.52 ERA

scoring Joe Panik and putting the Giants on the board in the 3rd inning,Christian Arroyo belts one into the gap and to the right-field wall

How sharp are those corners?

the Giants will scrutinize the performances of third baseman Christian Arroyo and left fielder Chris Shaw -- if there's anything to evaluate.,Though performance in offseason leagues can be illusory

has been bothered by a shoulder injury. That has blocked his efforts to convert from first base to left. Both could earn chances to join next year's starting lineup -- if they can remain healthy.,Arroyo, who showed promise during a 34-game trial with the Giants before a broken left hand ended his season, aggravated that injury, a power hitter and the organization's No. 2 prospect behind Arroyo, which has delayed his scheduled stint in the Dominican Republic. Shaw

The San Francisco native spent the last two seasons as an assistant hitting coach for newly minted World Series champion Astros. The wait on an announcement is presumably because of Houston’s postseason run.

The alum of Lincoln High in San Francisco was signed as an amateur free agent by the Giants in 1983 before being traded to the Montreal Expos. His batting average was .211 over 71 career games spanning two major league seasons — 1987 with the Expos, he played in Japan’s Nippon Professional Baseball., 1991 with the Mariners. Later

the offensive and defensive coordinators of the Giants now have something else to be concerned about.,As if they didn’t have enough on their plates

Let’s call it chaos control.

but they can’t will away many of their injuries and mistakes.,There’s only so much they and the rest of head coach Ben McAdoo’s staff could clean up in a bye week. Injuries and suspensions continue to haunt a 1-6 team that may have cleansed their minds during the off week

“We had a very thorough self-analysis done during the bye week,” offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan said after Thursday’s practice.

the Giants haven’t generated enough. Only Cincinnati and Miami have produced less yards than the Giants, at No. 1, who ranked 30th in the 32-team NFL,On offense, averaging 296.4 yards per game. New England, rolls up 411.1 yards per game.

Fixing the offense won’t be easy. The offensive line is in a state of denial and the wide receiving corps has been decimated by injuries.

arguably the best offensive lineman, probably won’t play Sunday against the Rams because of a back problem,Justin Pugh, and center Weston Richburg is still out because of a concussion.

from left to right, and Bobby Hart, the line will consist of the much maligned Ereck Flowers at tackle, John Jarry at guard, Brett Jones at center,So, replacing Pugh., D.J. Fluker at guard, whose ineffectiveness prompted moving Pugh from left guard to right tackle

LA’s all-world defensive tackle,Aaron Donald,T.J. Watt Vapor Untouchable Jersey, is probably counting down the days before he lines up against that line.

“The best thing we can do is play together,Authentic Weston Richburg Jersey,” said Fluker. “The best thing for us is unity.”

That and a better running game and better protection of quarterback Eli Manning.

At least help is on the way. Wide receiver Sterling Shepard was back on the practice field yesterday and expects to play against the Rams after missing just over two games with a sprained ankle.

“He’s somebody I think we’re going to rely upon,” Sullivan said.

Then there’s the offense’s production on third downs. After the Giants were 2-for-12 against Seattle in the game before the break,Womens Jason Pierre-Paul Jersey, it was a big priority after the self-analysis.

“It’s hard to start sustained drives if you don’t convert (on third downs),”Authentic Paul Perkins Jersey, said Sullivan. “There’s been an emphasis on that.”

the best pass rusher not named Jason Pierre-Paul,Authentic B.J. Goodson Jersey, is on the sidelines with an ankle problem, Authentic Bobby Hart Jersey, looks like he’ll miss another game with a nagging ankle injury; linebacker B.J. Goodson, who calls the defensive signals,The emphasis defensively has been on a patch work line-up. Olivier Vernon, and with cornerback Janoris Jenkins suspended for violating team rules,Womens B.J. Goodson Jersey, coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will juggle four defensive backs in his place.

one is Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie,Ironically, who was suspended for one game last month.

a recent call-up from the practice squad, prompting the slender Spagnuolo to quip, was added to the injury list yesterday. Denyon is a 5-foot-9,Plus Donte Denyon, 168-pound rookie, “I don’t know who’s skinner. Me or him?”

Or as Spagnuolo says of his defense, “There will be a lot of moving pieces.”

and running back Todd Gurley, who was selected one pick after the Giants took Flowers in the 2015 draft,The Rams present a lot of challenges. Second-year quarterback Jarred Goff is finally playing like the first overall draft pick he was in 2016, is second in the league in all-purpose yards.
