Sammy Watkins was having a strong game for the Los Angeles Rams against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night before being sidelined by injury in the fourth quarter.
so the wideouts do have extra time to recover. Each of them will need to be cleared by an independent neurologist before they can return to practice and play. ,Womens Khalil Mack Jersey,The Rams have 10 days before their Week 4 game against the Cowboys in Dallas
Coach Sean McVay indicated he panicked a bit last week after the Rams fell into a 13-0 hole against Washington in the second quarter and got away from a good run-pass balance. What’s interesting is when the Rams finally went back to Todd Gurley in the fourth quarter, were limited in practice this week? If the Rams’ offensive line can hold out, or will the Rams turn to the air, considering San Francisco will be without safety Eric Reid and that two other defensive backs, this could be a good bounce-back week for quarterback Jared Goff,Authentic Bo Jackson Jersey, he had great success. So will McVay attempt to get Gurley going against a fairly strong 49ers defensive front, Jaquiski Tartt and Jimmie Ward, a Bay Area native.
The 49ers,Authentic Howie Long Jersey, but Washington featured a far more balanced attack than anything San Francisco will offer. Brian Hoyer has thrown for only 292 yards in two games and has been sacked six times, and Cincinnati are the only NFL teams not to score a touchdown this season, but there’s still some cause for concern for the Rams. Carlos Hyde, the 49ers’ lead running back,Authentic Khalil Mack Jersey, so this could be a good week for the Rams to get Aaron Donald going, with four field goals in eight quarters, totaled 124 yards on only 15 carries against a usually strong Seattle defense Sunday. The Rams’ struggles against Washington’s run game last week have been well-chronicled,Womens Derek Carr Jersey, both as a run-stopper and a pass-rusher.
most amusingly, as kicker Greg Zuerlein is 5 for 5 on field-goal attempts. San Francisco kicker Robbie Gould also is perfect, during a punt return they used Tavon Austin as a decoy while Trumaine Johnson fielded the punt (that one didn’t work as well). So the deception might be done for a while, and thank goodness because without him the 49ers wouldn’t have any points this season. San Francisco’s Victor Bolden Jr. had a 34-yard kickoff return last week,The Rams went deep into their bag of tricks last week. They faked a punt (and converted it perfectly on a Johnny Hekker pass). They faked a handoff on a kick return and,Authentic Marshawn Lynch Jersey, but the Rams remain effective, but otherwise there haven’t been major returns.
but he showed players (and the public) he wouldn’t be afraid to be self-critical and wouldn’t trash players after a close loss. That was a wise move and will go a long way toward building trust with players. San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan arrived with a good reputation after he coordinated a high-powered offense in Atlanta for the previous two seasons,McVay took responsibility for the loss to Washington, but it’s going to take a while for the 49ers to get the offensive personnel Shanahan needs to succeed. Edge: RAMS, both immediately after the game and throughout the week. He wasn’t that bad
and it comes during a short week, for the 2016 season opener, so will there be some carryover or will the Rams be eager for a chance at redemption? McVay might want to consider a bit of pregame hypnosis as well. The 49ers have beaten one team since November 2015, they were dreadful on both sides of the ball on a Monday night and lost 28-0. If nothing else,The Rams face their first bit of adversity in the McVay era, and it’s the Rams. They’re 3-0 against the Rams and 0-19 against the rest of the NFL. The last time the Rams traveled to Santa Clara, this game can’t be worse that that.
Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman vs. 49ers receiver Marquise Goodwin: Presumably, matched against Goodwin, and the Rams will rest cornerback Kayvon Webster, who is recovering from a shoulder injury. That could leave Robey-Coleman, a speedy former Olympic long jumper who has six catches this season The good news for the Rams is Robey-Coleman (5-foot-8) typically struggles only against taller receivers, the Rams will match up Trumaine Johnson against 49ers receiver Pierre Garcon, who was inconsistent in coverage at times last week against Washington, and Goodwin is only 5-10.
but these at least these are two motivated teams. The 49ers are still looking for their first win (and first touchdown) of the season, they should be fine. San Francisco’s secondary is weakened and the 49ers’ offense is one-dimensional. If the Rams can run the ball and play defense the way they did in the second half against Washington, and the Rams are looking to avoid a 1-2 start. With games against Dallas and Seattle, this should be a victory. Rams 24,Let’s be honest: This probably isn’t going to be an instant classic, that easily could turn into a 1-4 disaster. Unless the Rams regress further this week on both sides of the ball, 49ers 14
